We kicked off the new year with a weekend of screenings in our backyard! The State Theater hosted three screenings in Sioux Falls, January 7th, 8th, and 9th with a special Q&A session directly following the Friday screening. As an added bonus, local brewery Covert Artisan Ales created a very special, limited-edition Valentine Crush beer to enjoy at the screenings!
In addition to the Sioux Falls screenings, we also coordinated a screening in Flandreau, SD. Director Jamie Wede's hometown, the screening in Flandreau was the completion of a lifelong dream to bring his movie to the big screen at the theater where he saw his first feature film.
Though Valentine Crush is leaving Sioux Falls, our next stop will be the Black Hills in February for the Black Hills Film Festival! Stay tuned for updates and schedule information.
